At St. Christopher’s, we aim to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all, with Christ at its centre. We want to create spaces where everyone is safe and the risk of abuse is minimised, where all can be healed and can use their gifts to their full potential.

The most up to date version of St. Christopher’s Safeguarding & Safer Recruitment Policy is attached here, alongside our policies on handling of DBS disclosure information and recruitment of ex offenders. As well as providing background and policy information, the Safeguarding & Safer Recruitment Policy also provides practical advice and relevant contact details in the event of a safeguarding incident, and explains the process we follow to recruit volunteers safely.

If you have any safeguarding concerns, you should notify our parish safeguarding officers immediately on safeguarding@stchristophersbrislington.org.uk . They will then contact you directly and advise the way forward.
